emPOWER is a Los Angeles County-wide outreach program with a mission to overcome barriers to sustainable energy usage commonly experienced in low-income and working-class communities of color.

Liberty Hill Foundation is partnering with nine community-based organizations with historic ties to the communities of Bell, Bell Gardens, Boyle Heights, East Los Angeles, El Monte, Inglewood, Pacoima, South Central, South Gate, and West and North Long Beach to expand access to and encourage the use of available energy rebates, upgrades, and other incentives that can help residents save up to thousands of dollars per year on energy bills.

We have received approximately $2 million from public, nonprofit, and private sector funders including SoCal Edison, the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power, GRID Alternatives, Electrify America, and South Coast AQMD to fund outreach efforts in local communities.
