Strategic Actions for a Just Economy (SAJE) is hosting its fourth annual fundraising gala, LA for Everybody: The Big 30, on Thursday, April 16, 2026.

This year's theme celebrates thirty years of SAJE and key partners amplifying working-class voices to advance housing justice, equitable land use, and climate solutions in Los Angeles. Join us for a celebratory evening of drinks, dinner, and time to connect with other economic justice staff, organizations, and leaders in Los Angeles.

Randy Renick
Partner, Hadsell Stormer Renick & Dai, LLP

Randy Renick was born and raised in Pasadena, California. He is a partner with Hadsell Stormer Renick & Dai LLP, where he and his colleagues specialize in complex cases and class action litigation, including wage and hour, antitrust, employment, civil rights, and public interest litigation. The firm's work reflects a shared commitment to advancing justice for working people — a mission that has defined Randy's career and the culture of the practice he helped build. Randy was selected as a "Rising Star" by Los Angeles Magazine and Law & Politics Magazine in 2004 and has been named a "Super Lawyer" every year since 2005. He is one of only a few plaintiff-side employment lawyers selected for Best Lawyers in America each year since 2007 and was named by Best Lawyers as Lawyer of the Year — Southern California for Litigation: Labor and Employment (Pasadena) for 2017, 2020, and 2025. He was also recently featured by the Daily Journal as a Top Labor & Employment Lawyer for 2025.

 

Karen Mack
Executive Director & Founder, LA Commons

Karen Mack founded LA Commons over 25 years ago based on a vision of communities where everyone has access and freedom to express themselves and the ability to tap into the power that creativity provides. The South LA–based nonprofit works in neighborhoods across the city, implementing artistic programs that foster interaction, dialogue and collaboration. They play a unique role as a facilitator of local engagement in arts and culture as well as in other important issues like health, transportation and education, to name a few, giving residents and particularly young people, a voice and an onramp to making positive change.

Liberty Hill Foundation is a laboratory for social change philanthropy. The organization leverages the power of community organizers, donor activists, and allies to advance social justice through strategic investment in grants, leadership training, and campaigns.

Q: When is LA for Everybody?
Thursday, April 16, 2026. The reception will begin at 6:00 p.m., followed by a dinner and program at 7:00 p.m. The event will conclude at 10:00 p.m.


Q: Where is LA for Everybody?
The event will be at Seventh/Place in the Los Angeles Arts District. The address is 802 Mateo Street, Los Angeles, CA, 90021.


Q: What is the dress code for attendees?
Dress will be business formal or cocktail attire.


Q: Should attendees wear masks?
Masks are not required, but if you prefer to wear one, please do! We’ll have extras on hand if you need one. Please do not attend the event if you are not feeling well.


Q: Does Seventh/Place have parking?
The venue offers valet parking, and there is street parking on adjacent blocks. We’ve highlighted street parking in yellow on the map below.

Q: How will I know where to sit?
The registration table will be located at the entrance to Seventh/Place, just before you reach the patio. Please bring ID to check in under your first and last name at the registration table and to receive your table card. Please allow 20 minutes for valet/parking and check-in.


Q: What if I need to send someone to the gala in my place?
Please have your guest check in under the original ticket holder’s name.


Q. How do I order a vegan/vegetarian meal?
Let your server know you would like a vegan/vegetarian meal.


Q: Are kids allowed?
Yes, children are welcome! Please note that each guest, including children, will need a ticket, as seating is arranged per plate.
